3b. Money looting by TNSCA - wrong observations noted
AICF and TNSCA - it is their hardwork and mountain like progress for decades. Not know what their administrative problems are. I am just a self-centred person who make observations on own without "real operational problems" parameter i.e without any experience. So it is their structure that was built for decades. So if a player wants to operate in their structure, the annual fee must be paid. Why not pay on first month and play State level tournaments all year. But it is not possible for a chess player to play at every city. A player plays at the most 1 or 2 state level tournaments in a year. That is why "money pay per tournament" is felt better. this edit: 27 May, 2025
Confession: Only District Associations membership fee ends on December. AICF and TNSCA is valid upto March every year. The earlier heading was wrong. It does not end at December.
The tournament date is December 8th, the last month of the year. Chess players are forced to pay Rs 150 for TNSCA (5 irrelevant persons on streets 500 kms away from tournament venue). For the next 3 weeks, there won't be any tournament. It is Rs 150 for one tournament. Already the tournament fee is Rs 400. This kind of money looting has been going on for 20 years + to the extent of crores of rupees all over India. They are "unofficial" individuals, private and non governmental, have done registration in Registration of societies for Rs 500 but they are looting "very officially" by force and compulsion.
Here, Namakkal District Players Association should file a case against the tournament organizer and TNSCA for forcing players to pay Rs 150 to persons on streets calling themselves TNSCA at Chennai, 500 kms from tournament venue. For proof, investigators should seek details of bank account where the money is getting loaded. What work are those people doing. Why the players are forced to pay Rs 150 when only 3 weeks are remaining in year 2024
In Salem Dist, they did not conduct "Open" category tournaments for 10 months since February 2024. What is the benefit of becoming Dist member or TNSCA member. For 10 months, no tournaments.
Note: SDCA has resumed "open" category tournaments from December 2024 onwards. This edit 27 May, 2025
The "chess playing desire" and "chess addiction" is exploited and manipulated by dozen persons on streets, not the next streets, streets situated 500 kms from tournament venues.
At the extreme end of the road, many persons in India are going to jail / prison for looting chess players money in excess.
