To whom does 7 Lakhs 68 thousand rupees go, that was loaded in bank account, directly to persons sitting in one place. The arbiters "work", the labourers "work" putting tables and chairs. The chess players play their games with "near heart attack" conditions, hundreds of players. One person or few persons sit at homes and load lakhs of money in their bank account.

This lottery system of chess cash prize tournaments must be banned

Salem District Chess Association (SDCA) usually conducts 2 days District level tournaments for a meagre Rs 50 only and FIDE Rated tournaments for Rs 700 only. Many of the pages in this blogspot are not applicable for SDCA regarding money looting in lakhs conducting FIDE Rated tournaments.
But this association seems to "suppress" "avoid" "destroy" OPEN category players at any cost. For 10 months no tournament was conducted from February to 14, December 2024. They were conducting 6-8 Open Cat tournaments for 20-30 years and not conducting now ?? It seems they won't conduct Open cat tournaments for next 20 years. What is the use of so called annual "membership" fee and TNSCA membership fee.
The following is just "one man's observation". One does not know what happened actually. May be, they were bit careless. During its last few tournaments, myself being participant at every "Open" tmt for over 5 years, there were less than 5 Open category players and in case of Talent Chess Academy at Jaya Rani college in the month of January, i was the only one "Open" category player which was me. At many "Open" tournaments, i was the only one. That might be the reason why they took it light or were careless in that matter. Also, it seems that they incurred losses when they conducted Open category tournaments.

As usual, they conducted District level tournament for a meagre Rs 50 per player.
When this is possible, why it is not possible for others.

Bengaluru is Indian capital for money looting in Lakhs in the form of chess tournaments, 1 day tournament and FIDE Rated tournaments.
1 day tournament non FIDE rated at Bengaluru is usually Rs 750. It is high for a 1 day tournament compared to each and every city in India.
AICF and KSCA are the approvers for those tournaments. Approving tournaments when they don't have approval to approve tournaments. If an investigation is conducted by Govt of India, most of them will be arrested there only.
